This is a 1948 B1 PW that I've had for about six years that we're
putting together.
The truck is completely disassembled at this time.
The frame is in very nice shape and has been painted.
The sheetmetal is very straight and complete (cab, hood, grille, doors,
fenders, bed).
The whole truck has been sandblasted (all pieces)(some are primed
I have four new tires and a very good matching spare. It can go
with or without combat rims.
I'm putting together a good running 230cui for it with first series
transmission.
It will have all new brake lines, turned drums new or rebuilt wheel
cylinders and master cylinder.
New electrical harness.
New glass
I've installed the winch (correct MU-2)
The price listed is for the truck in it's present condition.
It's about as close to a kit truck as I've ever seen.
The work needed on the sheet metal is minimal
I haven't decided on the color yet
I have three trucks in the shop that we're building at the same time
this truck, theB1 wrecker and the K6W
UPDATE
We're just about finished with the brake work . All new wheel
cylinders, new rubber and solid lines. The solid lines are
the kind that won't rust. I turned the drums and replaced all the
seals. All the wheel bearings have been cleaned and packed.
I think I will mount the tires ( heavy lug snows) on regular rims
painted black with silver lugs. I may repaint the inners to match the
truck color later on.
We're ready to start putting the accessories on the engine.
