This is a 57 PW I picked up in trade. I would say the truck is in fair condition.
It rolled down a hill and hit a tree bending the frame. I have a usable frame to go with the truck.
The sheet metal is fair thru out. All the fenders need work but can be brought back.
The cab floor needs work around the mounts.
The engine runs and drives the truck. I haven't run it long enough to see if it smokes. I don't think it does though.
The tires are checked and cracked but serviceable.
All in all I think it's a good starter truck  for the money.

Update
Since I took this picture we've dismantled the truck and changed out the bent frame.
While I had it apart I sanded and painted the donor frame and am in the process of  running all new brake lines (the type that don't rust).
I took off the plow frame and have a regular bumper to go back on
Also I fixed the broken bellhousing and checked out the clutch. I noticed it had the wrong transmission (a 420 out of a two wheel drive) so
I changed that out also. The new tranny is much tighter.
The front motor mount (wishbone and rubber mount) have been changed.
While I have the cab off I repaired the rear cab mounts, holes in the fire wall (why do people cut holes in the fire wall to get at the bellhousing bolts????).
The underneath of the cab has been painted with industrial enamel (black).
The bed is disassembled and the steel plate has been removed. I'm going to repair both front and rear fender supports.
This truck can be purchased at anytime. The more I do to it the higher the price goes. Any questions, give me a call.
I'm changing the color to a darker green (Mack fleet green).
